Call Of Duty Guide | Tips | Easy to follow
Call Of Duty 4 - This is a 2007 first-person shooter video game, developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii. It was in development for two years, and was a solid game. There are a lot of things different from Black Ops II, to this game. Such as devices, guns, as well as perks, and stuff like that.

Call of Duty: World at War - This is is a 2008 first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision Blizzard for PC, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360. Again, there are a lot of different things from Black Ops II, and this game. This game is based on World War II, and Black Ops II is more modern. The guns are completely different, as well as perks, and sights. However, there are tanks in this game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - This is a 2009 first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles and the Microsoft Windows operating system. This game has it's different content. There are things such as aiming down sight, it doesn't move, however Black Ops II is more realistic, and user-friendly. Modern Warfare 2 is more skill based, and head glitched appropriate (Will be discussed below).

Call of Duty: Black Ops - This is a 2010 first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch, published by Activision. This was for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii consoles with a separate version for Nintendo DS developed by n-Space. This game became a little more advanced, and there are less differences. Although Black Ops was also futuristic, and somewhat modern at the same time, some of the guns are used again such as the AK74-U, and things like that. It was renamed, but has been used in different Call Of Duty's. The bullet registration in this game is also very inconsistent, and many people dislike this game because of that.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - This is a 2011 first-person shooter video game, developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games (Treyarch for the Wii version), with Raven Software having assisted in development and published by Activision. It's also a direct sequel to 2009's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and the eighth Call of Duty installment. This game is pretty much the same as Modern Warfare 2, but has it's differences. It's more modern than Modern Warfare 2, but still based on the same differences between Black Ops II, and Modern Warfare 2.

Call Of Duty Guide | Tips | Easy to follow

Learn The Maps - In order to do good, you're going to need to know what you're doing. That's when knowing the maps comes in handy. You will know what to expect, you will know how to react to different situations, and you will know where to stand your ground. Knowing the maps will defiantly keep you alive if you know how to do it correctly. So make sure you spend time getting to know them, and learning the kill hot spots. Usually, all the action takes part in either 1-3 spots on a map. Such as the middle, and things like that. So play some public games, and get to know them.

Check Corners, Learn To Aim - You always want to check your corners when playing Call Of Duty. It may be fun, but some people make it a terrible experience. Lot's of people sit in a corner, and wait for others to run past them to shoot them in the back. This can get really aggravating if you're playing competitively. So make sure when entering a building, or turning a corner, to check the corners before continuing. Also, you need to learn to aim. Find a sensitivity that is good for you, and something that makes you feel comfortable. I played Call Of Duty competitively, and I used all default settings. However, many people used 1-2 over the default sensitivity, and they also played on tactical to drop shot faster. You usually only drop shot on Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Black Ops, and Modern Warfare 2. Make sure you also aim down site at the right times. You don't want to aim down sight in the middle of the map, because it slows you down tremendously. So be smart, and logical when doing so.

Look At Radar - The radar, is your friend. You need to always be sure to look at it. Every time you hear gun shots, make sure you look up at your radar. That way you know where it's coming from. You can also see your teammates the whole time they are alive. This will help with meeting up, and working together to defeat your opponent. It also marks the spot of fallen allies. This is a great tool to determine where your enemy is, and also helps with tactical things such as positioning, and so on.

Controls - Now, I'm not going to tell you to use anything, because I myself do not use tactical. However, I do suggest using that control setting in-game for a few different reasons. First off, you will be able to crouch faster, position yourself into prone faster, and you will essentially be more mobile. I use default because I'm used to it, and like I said I play competitively. So I do not have the time to attempt to switch, and get used to tactical. However, it's actually really good. When you're about to, or either are in a gun fight with an enemy, you can shoot, aim, and prone at the same time easier then you would be able to on default. This will defiantly throw the enemy off since he has to move his cursor down to you instead of just shooting where you were standing.

Find what you're good at - Work with some different guns, perks, and sights. Find what you're good with, and what makes you feel comfortable. Make sure you use what fits you, and use the set-up that fits your playing style. Such as a rushing class, sniping class, assault class, and a class that's something like you move around a lot, and don't sit still too much. Just make sure you're doing good, and it's something that makes you an all around good player.

Attachments / Perks - You're going to want to use attachments, and perks that suit your style. So if you're using the rushing class, you're going to want to make sure you use something like extended clip, and fast mag with a sub machine gun. However, if it's an assault class, where you're going to camp a little, take cover, but be effective, you're going to want to use an assault rifle with reflex, and fore grip. Now you're also going to want to use the correct perks. Again, if you're using a rushing class, you're going to want something like lightweight, with toughness, or fast hands, and dead silence, or extreme conditioning. However, for your assault class, you're going to want lightweight, toughness, and then either dead silence, or extreme conditioning, depending on if you're using a headset or not.

Rusher - This is the type of player who pushes through enemy lines without hesitating. The type
of person who rarely stops to even reload. Although the person may get many kills, they will probably get many deaths as well. These types of players are good for kill dependent game modes.

The Objective - This type of player loves to rush, but plays smart at the same time. They're usually the player who grabs, and captures the flag, but tries to stay a live a lot as well. They don't usually end up with many kills, but they do end up with many points. This position is crucial to win a game.

Hunter - This type of player usually hunts for kills. The type of person who would spawn kill, and try to gain more of an advantage for their team by killing their opponent over, and over, tactically, but aggressively.

Flanker - The flanker is the type of person who doesn't shoot right when they see someone. They're not craving kills. They're the type of player that tries to get behind enemy lines without being noticed, and then strike once they have the chance. Right in the back, when they least expect it. Silent, but deadly.

Predator - These players usually hang out spots that aren't really too active. The part of the map where it's quiet, and they can take people one on one without really being noticed. They usually wait for things such as UAV's, and gunfire to help locate their opponent.

Stalker - These types of players try to hide behind their teammates, and wait for gunfire, or UAV's, then strike when the enemy least expects it. They don't shoot right away, but wait for the perfect opportunity to strike when they feel it's the best.

Defensive - These players sit back toward their spawn, or area that they need to protect, and they wait. Making sure their objective is being taken care of by their teammates, but making sure they're area's are safe.

Call of Duty 4 -

In Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the classic World War II scenario is abandoned and brought to the modern times. The player will play as "Soap" Mactavish, working in the 22nd regiment under Captain John Price and Gaz, who's rank is unknown (he is higher than Soap but lower than Price). The SAS works throughout the campaign searching for leads on the two antagonists in the game, OpFor leader Khaled Al-Asad and Ultranationlist leader Imran Zakhaev.
The secondary protagonist is US Marine Sgt. Paul Jackson stationed in Middle Eastern operations to hunt down Al-Asad and also save a friendly tank in a bog. Jackson, along with 30000 other Marines in his unit die by Al-Asad's nuclear explosion. Captain Price and his squad are left to kill Al-Asad in his safehouse, avenge the dead Marines, and find out about Imran Zakhaev.

Two special levels appear in-game when Captain Price and his crew await extraction in Al-Asad's safehouse. Price tells his men about the time in 1996 where he and his partner Captain MacMillan make their way to an abandoned building where they try to kill Imran Zakhaev as part of an assignment in Prypiat, Ukraine.

The last levels of the game is where Soap, Price, and Gaz save a new team member from Russians (SSgt. Griggs), fight their way to a ICBM missile silo owned by Zakhaev, and finally stop the missiles from destroying the east coast of the US and put a shocked Zakhaev on the run.

In the last mission, Game Over, the team make one last effort to kill Zakhaev. After a hardcore truck-to-truck fight and a missile firing helicopter encounter, Bravo Six makes their last stand on a bridge with no possible reinforcements. Griggs and Gaz are killed, but Price quickly slides his M1911 to Soap. Soap dramatically kills Zakhaev and gets extracted by a Loyalist team led by Kamarov, who assisted the team in Blackout.

Call of Duty: World At War -

The American campaign is set in the Pacific theater on the islands of Makin, Peleliu, and Okinawa. The Soviet campaign is set in the Eastern Front, mainly in Nazi Germany. In the American campaign, players take the role of Pvt. C. Miller as he fights alongside Sgt. Tom Sullivan, Cpl. Roebuck (later Sergeant), and Pvt. Polonsky. In the Soviet campaign, players take the role of Pvt. Dimitri Petrenko as he fights alongside the merciless Sgt. Viktor Reznov and the merciful Pvt. Chernov. In the American campaign, players, for the first time in a Call of Duty game, fight against the Japanese Imperial Army. Most combat takes place in jungles, where ambushes are likely. Combat also takes place in small mortar pits, ridges, beach heads, Japanese trenches, and small villages. Bunkers are a common sight in the American campaign, usually causing heavy casualties. The player must also fight with a crew of a PBY Catalina Black Cat. In the Soviet Campaign, players fight against the German Wehrmacht during the push towards Berlin. Combat takes place, at first, in the ruins of Stalingrad where the player is mainly a sniper. After that, combat occurs in farmland and forests of the German town of Seelow, including using a T-34 tank to smash through German defenses. Finally, Berlin is assaulted and close quarter fighting becomes a common feature. The last mission of the Soviet campaign sees the Red Army capture the Reichstag and the player planting the Soviet Flag on top of the building.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 -

The year is 2016, and despite the efforts of the United States Marine Corps and the Special Air Service, the Ultranationalists seize control of Russia and declare Imran Zakhaev a hero and martyr, erecting a statue of him in the heart of the Red Square. Meanwhile, Vladimir Makarov, one of Zakhaev's former lieutenants, begins a campaign against Europe by committing brutal acts of terrorism over the course of five years. In Afghanistan, U.S. Army Ranger PFC Joseph Allen assists in the taking of a city from a local militia. Impressed by Allen's abilities, Lieutenant General Shepherd recruits him into "Task Force 141", an elite, multi-national counter-terrorist unit under Shepherd's command. Meanwhile, two other members of 141, Cpt. 'Soap' MacTavish and Sgt. Gary 'Roach' Sanderson infiltrate a Russian airbase in the Tian Shan mountains to retrieve an ACS (Attack Characterization System) module from a downed satellite.

Call of Duty: Black Ops -

Much of the Call of Duty: Black Ops campaign is told through the eyes of SOG and CIA operative Alex Mason, primarily through flashbacks. Mason is asked questions by an unknown interrogator about a numbers broadcast which is being used to contact Soviet sleeper cells in the United States. These questions set the stage for the campaign missions.
The first mission is a flashback to Mason's participation in the Bay of Pigs Invasion, a doomed effort to assassinate Fidel Castro. At the end of this mission, Mason is captured by Castro's soldiers and given to Nikita Dragovich as a 'gift.' He is held captive at the Vorkuta Gulag, a Russian labor camp, for two years.

After further interrogation, Mason recounts how, during his imprisonment at Vorkuta, he befriended Viktor Reznov, a former Red Army soldier and a returning character from Call of Duty: World at War. Reznov assists Mason in sparking a prisoner uprising at Vorkuta, which facilitates Mason's escape from the prison.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 -

Hours after killing General Shepherd, Captain John Price and Nikolai evacuate a dying John "Soap" MacTavish to a safehouse run by Nikolai’s allies in Himachal Pradesh, India. While Soap receives medical attention, a large group of men under Vladimir Makarov's command, storm the safe-house in attempt to kill the three. A soldier named Yuri, aids Price in giving Soap medical attention, securing a safe route to the extraction point out of the country.
The Russian invasion of the United States continues, culminating the Battle of Lower Manhattan. A Delta Force team call-sign “Metal” under the command of Sandman is deployed in New York City to repel the Russian assault along the East River. Team Metal succeeds in destroying a jamming device mounted on the rooftop of the New York Stock Exchange building and escapes on a Black Hawk helicopter and later assists the U.S. Navy SEALs in boarding a Russian Oscar II to use its ordnance against the Russian Navy. As a result of Team Metal's actions, the Russians withdraw from the East Coast, and presumably, the US as a whole.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II -

In the year 2025, U.S. Special Forces operatives led by David Mason and his partner, Mike Harper, arrive at "the Vault", a top-security location home to an aging Frank Woods, whom they suspect possess vital information on the whereabouts of Raul Menendez. Woods concedes that Menendez has recently visited him, and shows them a locket that the latter had left behind. Frank then narrates several covert missions undertaken during his military career which span their previous encounters.
According to Woods, by 1986 Alex Mason had effectively retired from active duty to pursue an obscure existence in Alaska with his son, the seven-year-old David. Their shaky relationship is strained further when Mason is solicited by his former handler Jason Hudson, seeking to recruit him for an assignment in Cuando Cubango during the height of the Angolan civil and South African Border Wars. Woods had disappeared with his men while aiding Jonas Savimbi's UNITA rebels against Angola's Marxist government; their actions have already been disavowed by the CIA and Hudson hopes to rescue any survivors. With UNITA assistance, Mason and Hudson recover Woods from the Cubango, subsequently locating Menendez among a contingent of Cuban military advisers. However, a firefight breaks out, and their quarry escapes as the Americans are rescued by helicopter. It is revealed that Menendez is responsible for holding Woods captive after murdering his team.

Survival is one of the three game modes in Zombies. This was originally the only game mode available, but now it's available as a secondary option on all maps.

Downs - If a player is hit twice by a Zombie or any other creature, five from a zombie or six from a hellhound with Jugger-Nog, he will be knocked down. When down the player will lose any perk that have been purchased. The player will drop down to a sitting pose with a pistol. Whatever handgun you have will work(i.e. Raygun, Five-Seven). Downed players can be revived by any of the other teammates in the game. The team has 30 seconds to reach the downed player before he dies. If a player dies he will be out of the game until the next round beings. When the player comes back to life he will only have the M1911 again. No former weapons or perks. However, if the player is revived instead of dying, he will have the weapons before he was downed, but all Perks will still be lost.

Points - Players are awarded points for shooting and killing zombies and Hellhounds. Even more points can be earned if a creature is killed with a headshot or stabbed with a knife.

Run A Train - A common tactic in Zombie games is to have a group of zombies following one player. The player will run around an area on the map to compact them together or form a sort of train. When ready, the player will turn around and shoot all of them in their heads. The head is the most vulnerable spot, and firing in a crowd will harm more with less ammo.

Mystery Box - The Mystery Box is known by some as a Random Weapon Box, Box, Toy Box, Teddy Bear Box, etc -- is a long rectangular wooden box with question marks on it. You can buy a random weapon for 950 Points. Some special weapons can ONLY be found in the Mystery Box.

Pack-A-Punch - The Pack-A-Punch Machine is a special machine found on many Zombie maps. Once you have access to it you can upgrade any one of your weapons to a more powerful version for 5000 Points.
